To apply for the Mastercard Gold, your primary or secondary residence must be in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, France, or Spain. You must also have a valid bank account in the same country.
This card is unique because no full identification process such as PostIdent is required. Advanzia Bank will send the credit card to your registered address, and you pay your credit card bill from your registered bank account, which automatically confirms your identity. Applying for your free Advanzia Bank Mastercard Gold is quick and easy! Below you'll find each step explained to help you apply for and activate your new credit card:
- Go to the Advanzia website, scroll down to the “Apply for Mastercard Gold” section, select your country, and click on “Apply for Card” to request your free Advanzia Bank Mastercard Gold.
- On the first page, enter your personal information, including your name, address, nationality, and date of birth. Once you have filled in your details, click the "YES, I want to" button.
This information will be used to determine your credit card limit. Please make sure that all information—especially regarding your income and occupation—is accurate and truthful.
You may also leave this field blank, but a lower limit will automatically be assigned to you.
- Once you’ve completed the form, click "Submit Now".
- After finishing the application process, you will need to activate the credit card that will be sent to you.
After submitting your application, your information and creditworthiness (e.g., Schufa, CEG) will be checked. If your application is approved, you’ll receive a welcome email.
- Within 2–3 weeks of applying, you’ll receive an A4 envelope containing your free Mastercard Gold, an activation card, and the credit card agreement.
- Sign the activation card and return it promptly to Advanzia Bank. The address is already printed on the postcard, and postage is covered by Advanzia Bank.
- As soon as Advanzia Bank receives your signed activation card, your credit card will be activated, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
A few business days later, you will receive a separate letter by mail containing your 4-digit PIN, which you can use to withdraw cash at any ATM with your Mastercard Gold. This letter will also show your personal credit limit, which has been calculated and approved based on the information you provided.
